Less than half of one percent of Victorians are duck shooters.

Most electorates have between zero and half of one percent of their voters licensed to shoot ducks. The highest percentage of voters who are duck shooters in an electorate is 2.48%.

According to the regulator, a third of licensed duck shooters don't actually participate in duck shooting.

Meanwhile professional polls continue to show most Victorians want duck shooting banned, with the strongest support for a ban coming from regional areas (UComms 2021).

In 2023, the number of licensed duck shooters plunged to 21,950, the lowest since the 2009 millennium drought.
